We provide cinematic content production, brand storytelling, content strategy and performance-minded marketing services to businesses in the luxury and lifestyle industries.

Contact details Email: info@yourgame.media Phone: +44 7570 152449 Location: Derby, United Kingdom
If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your data, contact us at the details above.
2. What this policy covers
This policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect personal data when:
-
someone visits our website (www.yourgame.media)
-
someone submits an enquiry, books a call, or contacts us directly
-
we work with a client or supplier and process data in the course of that relationship
-
we research and contact prospective clients as part of our outbound business development (cold email, LinkedIn outreach, and similar)
It does not cover the practices of third-party sites we link to, or of platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn or TikTok, which have their own privacy policies.
3. Personal data we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
Enquiries and bookings — name, email address, phone number, business name, website and social media links, and any details you choose to share about your brand or project when you contact us or book a call.
Client and project data — contact details, business information, and any content, assets, footage, images or brand materials you provide to us to deliver a project, campaign or retainer.
Prospect and outreach data — when we research potential clients for our own business development, we may collect publicly available business contact information such as a name, job title, company, business email address, LinkedIn profile, and company website. This is sourced from public platforms, business directories, and prospecting tools such as Apollo.io — not from private or non-public sources.
Communications — records of emails, calls, and messages exchanged between us.
Technical and website analytics data — we use Google Analytics and our website's own built-in analytics to understand how visitors use our site — for example, pages viewed, time on site, general location (country/city level), device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site (such as via search or social media). This data is generally aggregated and is not used to personally identify you.
Social data — we also use Instagram's built-in analytics to understand performance of our own social content (for example, reach, engagement, and follower trends on our own account).
If we introduce advertising pixels (such as Meta or LinkedIn Ads) or any further tracking tools in future, this policy will be updated first and, where required, our cookie consent mechanism will be updated accordingly.
We do not knowingly collect special category data (such as health, religious belief, or biometric data) and ask that you do not send us this kind of information unless it is directly and necessarily relevant to a project we're working on together.
4. How we use your data, and our legal basis
What we use it forLegal basis

Delivering a project, campaign or retainer for a clientPerformance of a contract
Invoicing, record-keeping and tax complianceLegal obligation
Reaching out to prospective clients about our services (cold email, LinkedIn)Legitimate interests — relevant B2B marketing to business contacts, balanced against your right to object
Improving our services, case studies and portfolio (using client work, with permission)Consent / legitimate interests

Where we rely on legitimate interests, we've considered that our processing is proportionate, expected in a normal business context, and doesn't override your own rights and freedoms.
5. Cold outreach and prospecting
Reaching out directly to relevant businesses is part of how we find clients. When we do this:
-
We only use business contact details (not personal/private email addresses or phone numbers) sourced from public platforms, company websites, and B2B prospecting tools like Apollo.io.
-
Every outreach email includes a clear way to opt out or unsubscribe, and we honour opt-out requests promptly.
-
We don't sell, rent, or share prospect data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
-
You can ask us at any time what data we hold about you as a prospect, or ask us to delete it — see Section 9.
6. Cookies
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies, including:
-
Essential cookies — needed for the site to function (for example, to remember basic settings). These don't require consent.
-
Analytics cookies — Google Analytics and our website's built-in analytics tool, which help us understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, time on site, general location, device/browser type, and how you arrived at the site). These are non-essential and only set with your consent.
You'll be asked to accept or decline analytics cookies when you first visit the site via our cookie banner, and you can change your preference at any time by clearing your cookies or adjusting your browser settings. Declining analytics cookies won't affect your ability to use the site.
If we introduce advertising or retargeting cookies (such as Meta or LinkedIn Ads pixels) in future, we'll update this section and our cookie banner accordingly before they're set.
7. Who we share data with
We don't sell personal data. We may share it with:
-
Service providers who support our operations, including Google Workspace (email, storage, hosting), our email sending platform, Apollo.io (prospecting), and creative/production tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, DaVinci Resolve, Higgsfield and Freepik, and AI tools including ChatGPT and Claude, where these are used to support project delivery or business operations.
-
Professional advisers (such as an accountant), where necessary.
-
Authorities, where we're legally required to disclose information.
We choose providers who take data protection seriously, and we only share what's necessary for them to provide their service to us.
8. International transfers
Some of the tools we use (including Google, Apollo.io, and various AI and creative platforms) may store or process data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where this happens, we rely on the provider's own compliance mechanisms — such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, Standard Contractual Clauses, or equivalent safeguards — to ensure your data is protected to a standard consistent with UK data protection law.
9. Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:
-
Access the personal data we hold about you
-
Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
-
Erasure — ask us to delete your data, where applicable
-
Restrict or object to how we use your data
-
Data portability, where relevant
-
Withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent
-
Opt out of direct marketing at any time
To exercise any of these rights, email info@yourgame.media. We'll respond within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you also have the right to complain to the UK's data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), at ico.org.uk.
10. How long we keep data
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected for — for example, enquiry and prospect data is generally retained for a reasonable period to allow for follow-up, and deleted or anonymised if no relationship develops. Client and financial records are kept for as long as required by UK tax and accounting law (currently at least 6 years).
11. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect personal data, including restricting access to trusted tools and accounts and using reputable, secure service providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect data appropriately for a business of our size.
12. Children
Our services and website are aimed at businesses, not children. We don't knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time, for example as our tools or services change. The "last updated" date at the top will always reflect the latest version. Significant changes will be reflected clearly on this page.
14. Contact us
